This charger worked perfectly for 2-3 starts then screen went blank and nothing. Tried recharging to now avail. No light on screen. Dead. Then seller let me return it and shipped me a new one. It is a nice heavy duty charger with good ratings is the reason I bought it. So thanks to the seller for replacing this item with no problems.

This is a great emergency product to have in your car! I am planning on buying one for the whole family! My husband's truck died shortly after getting this, and it was a lifesaver!! It works very well, and is compact so it doesnt take up a whole lot of space in your vehicle. This makes a great gift as well! Would recommend to anyone!

This was definitely worth it. Easy to use. Not so big like some of the other ones. And works great.

The SM2000 Pro is lightweight but powerful. It comes with a nice case that holds everything in place. A USB-A to USB-C cord is included and it worked well. The battery pack arrived with a charge level of four bars (approximately 80%). It didn't take long to fully charge. When taking the jump starter out of the package, the screen looks scratched but it's not. Although it might not be obvious, there is a thin film that needs to be pulled off. The screen is bright and easy to read. It does not give a battery percentage however I have found that feature to be inaccurate in similar products. A simple bar readout like this one is fine. The screen also has icons to warn you of problems like a short circuit or temperature issues. That is a nice feature often missing from jump starters.

Using the jump pack is easy. The clamp jaws are strong and hold tightly to both the battery terminal (red) and grounding bolts (black). Note that the instructions are different than other lithium ion battery packs, at least the ones I've used. The instructions for those say to connect black directly to the negative terminal. The instructions with this Safemate pack say to connect the black clamp to a grounding location like you would with regular jumper cables. This is safer in case a spark occurs and the battery is off-gassing. The downside is that the cables are quite short so you need to find a ground that's very close. This is typical of portable jump packs so not a knock against Safemate. That said, it would be nice if the black cable was longer to accommodate this change. I would expect you could connect directly to the negative terminal if necessary.

The jump starter/battery pack has a rugged build, nice storage case, a good selection of features, and enough power to start most vehicles. It's also priced competitively. I've owned several portable jump starters and have used them many times for everything from my lawn tractors to cars and trucks. They are very handy to have. I really like this one and recommend it.
