SAFEMATE USER GUIDE
Get your vehicle back on the road in minutes. Read this quick guide before your first use.
⚠️ Critical Pre-Check Requirements
- Check Unit Power: Ensure the host battery indicator is above 40% before attempting to jump-start.
- Turn Off Electronics: Turn off all vehicle electrical devices (lights, radio, A/C) to maximize cranking power.
- Check Battery Voltage: Your vehicle battery voltage must be between 0.5V and 12.6V. If it is above 12.6V, this jump starter cannot be used. (If below 0.5V, see the Force Start section below).
How to Jump-Start Your Vehicle (Standard Mode)
Plug in Clamps: Firmly insert the blue plug of the heavy-duty smart clamps into the jump starter host's socket.
Connect to Terminals: Connect the RED (+) clamp to the positive terminal of your car battery first, then connect the BLACK (-) clamp to the negative terminal.
Smart Detection: Turn on the jump starter. If connected correctly, the display will show your vehicle's current battery voltage and the buzzer will beep 3 times. You are now ready to start.
Crank the Engine: Turn your car key or press the engine start button for no more than 4 seconds. If it fails to start, wait at least 15 seconds before trying again.
Disconnect Safely: Once the engine starts, remove the BLACK clamp (-) first, then the RED clamp (+) within 30 seconds. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to shut down the host.
⚠️ Extreme Case: How to Use Force Start Mode
If your car battery is severely drained (below 0.5V) or the device is in deep sleep, the screen may remain blank. Follow these steps to manually boost it:
- Connect the clamps to the car battery terminals (Double check the polarity!).
- With the jump starter turned on, press and hold the power button for more than 5 seconds.
- Release the button when the screen illuminates to show the voltage and you hear a "click" sound. You can now crank the engine.
❄️ Winter & Extreme Cold Tips
Yes, this unit works in winter, but freezing temperatures naturally reduce lithium battery discharge efficiency. For best results in severe cold, warm the unit inside your jacket or near the vehicle’s heater for a few minutes before use.
Note: The unit features smart Low-Temperature Protection (Error Code E04) and will safely shut down if internal temperatures fall below -30°C (-22°F).
🔦 Built-In Spotlight Operation
This jump starter is equipped with a high-intensity, solid LED spotlight to assist you during night-time emergencies.
- To turn on: Short press the designated light button when the unit is powered on.
- Lighting Mode: Solid continuous beam (Provides steady visibility to illuminate your engine block or work area).
